Areas of Expertise
Coming from the world of athletics, blended with her educational background in leadership and administration she has been able to coach and facilitate sessions (groups and individuals) that get people to think differently about their current mindset. It is her goal to encourage people to learn more about themselves, current practices, and how they impact the people around them.
She has learned that for people and teams to succeed it is important for them to bring their authentic self not only to the workplace, but in life. Understanding that different perspectives can impact team dynamics, she strives to create sessions that honor these differences while guiding teams to work together for the overall vision of the company/organization.
Dr. Shaw facilitates sessions that are interactive, conversational, engaging, and educational whether in person or virtual. What makes Dr. Shaw’s delivery exceptional is that it is rooted in her own authenticity and her genuine passion to help others develop not only in their role, but to become leaders in the workplace and in life. She understands that creating a space to develop various skills allows people and teams to grow. Through her experience she has witnessed how investment in people has a direct correlation to retention, recruitment of talent, and overall success.
